Get to Know Me
Tibetan Tse Dup Soul healer
My name is Angela Cox, a Drup Shen Ma — soul healer. My path to Tse Dup began like many spiritual journeys: quietly and curiously. As a child, I felt drawn to crystals and the unseen world, though I often kept this part of myself hidden to avoid judgment. For years, I shared only glimpses of my spiritual interests with close friends, while inwardly carrying a knowing that there was something more for me.
That shifted when I moved to Nashville, TN, where I gave myself permission to live authentically. I immersed myself in learning — studying Shamanism, Crystal Healing, Priestessing, and Reiki, eventually becoming a Usui/Holy Fire Reiki Master™. I discovered the joy of weaving practices together, blending crystals, intuition, smoke, and energy work into healing experiences uniquely attuned to each soul.
Then I found Tse Dup Yang Bod — an ancient Tibetan practice I had never heard of but immediately felt called to explore. From my very first class, I was transformed. I devoted myself fully to the lineage, training for three years with Lopon Lumo Woekar and receiving the sacred lineage empowerment from Geshe Chongtul Rinpoche. Through this blessing, I was formally recognized as a Drup Shen Ma.
Tse Dup has been a profound source of healing in my own life, and I believe deeply in its ability to touch others in ways beyond words. With love, compassion, and devotion to this sacred work, I now share this practice as the first Tse Dup Drup Shen in Texas certified by Rainbow Lovina Healing Arts.
At 18, I began my path of service in the Army, where I trained as a Surgical Technologist. For over 21 years, I’ve had the honor of being part of surgical teams and assisting in thousands of procedures across all specialties. That work gave me not only a profound knowledge of the human body, but also a deep reverence for life itself.
Through those years of service, I witnessed the strength, vulnerability, and resilience of people in their most delicate moments. It taught me that healing is not only physical — it is emotional, spiritual, and rooted in love and compassion.
Today, I bring that same devotion into my soul healing practice. My time in the Operating Room keeps me grounded in the body, while my healing work opens space for the heart and soul to restore balance. This union of science and spirit allows me to support others with both precision and compassion — honoring the body, nurturing the soul, and holding space with love.
What is Tse Dup? It is an ancient practice rooted in Tibetan Bon teachings. The teachings are indigenous to the spiritual traditions of Tibet. Tse Dup Yang Bod is an ancient healing practice that comes from the 7th century spiritual texts. These teachings also touch on their medical texts that have been passed down through the Bon lineage. Tse Dup is multi-dimensional energy work that can help heal the mind, body and spirit through retrieving, balancing and deep healing of the soul and life force energies through the 5 element and 5 major organs to support you on all levels.
